Tallow Chef was born out of a personal journey - one that began with a search for real, nourishing food and desire to restore balance to my health. After struggling with persistent gut issues and fatigue, I realised that much of today's "health food" was overly processed, lacking nutrient and driven by trends rather than tradition.
Through research and experimentation, I stumbled upon beef tallow - a forgotten fat that once formed the backbone of traditional cooking. Rich in nutrients, naturally stable at high temperatures and completely free from seed oils and synthetic additives, tallow quickly became a game-changer in my diet. Within weeks of using it in my meals, I began to notice real changes; better digestion, improved energy and reduced inflammation.
I replaced processed oils and artificial fats with 100% grass-fed and finished, GMO-free British beef tallow and it transformed the way I viewed food and health. Cooking no longer felt like a chore - it became a ritual rooted in purpose, simplicity and flavour.
